Anna Mae Unglesbee, 86, of Taneytown, MD, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Born January 30, 1931 in Detour, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Emory and Marion (Clabaugh) Coshun.  She was the wife of the late James Harold Unglesbee, to whom she was married for 56 years.

Anna Mae was a cashier and baker for several years at Baumgardner’s Bakery in Taneytown.  She was also a well-known waitress at the former Taneytown Twin Kiss.  Earlier in her life she worked as a seamstress at several area sewing factories.  She was a member of Keysville Evangelical Lutheran Church.  Anna Mae loved spending time with her family and her pets, Taffy and Tilly.  She enjoyed collecting cookie jars.  She was always very outgoing and personable, and was called “mom” by many people.

Surviving are her children, Rosemary and Kevin Unglesbee of Taneytown, Gail Aragon and husband Henry of Roswell, NM, and Dennis Unglesbee and wife Myong of Westminster; brother, Leroy Coshun of Emmitsburg; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her beloved husband James, she was predeceased by brother, James Edward Coshun and sister, Margaret Coshun.

Funeral arrangements are private and have been entrusted to MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Taneytown.  Burial will be at Keysville Union Cemetery.  “You’ll be missed each and every day, for you are someone special who means more than words can ever say.”
