Barbara Ann Stefl, 74, of Taneytown, MD formerly of Ocean View, Delaware, died on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, Maryland.

          Born on July 20, 1942 in Uniontown, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Stella (Kordella) Salonick.  She was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Stefl.

          Prior to retiring she worked as an office manager for a pediatrician.  She was an avid baker and cook who loved to spend her time at the beach walking on the boardwalk.

          Surviving are sons, Patrick Stefl and wife Heather of Stafford, Virginia, and Marc Stefl of Taneytown; 2 grandsons, Dylan and Jack.

          She was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Ann Stefl in 1977.

          A graveside service and interment will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, Maryland with Rev. Daniel Morgan officiating.

          Memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave, Westminster, MD  21157.   Arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Taneytown, Maryland.
