Dale Marie Lawrence, 62, of Taneytown, Maryland, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.

Born July 4, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Edwin D. Gosnell and Betty L. (Arminger) Dillman.  She is survived by her husband James C. Lawrence, Jr.

Marie was a graduate of Milford Mill High School, and worked as an administrative associate with B.J.’s Wholesale Club.  She loved time at the beach, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband are daughter, Kristie Nichole Baker and partner Mitchell Knox of Orrtanna, PA; son, Jason Michael Jenkins and wife Jessie of Taneytown; step-sons, Ryan Lawrence and wife Christina of Westminster, and Phill Lawrence and husband Adam of Littlestown, PA; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Raines and partner Wes Burke of Daytona Beach, FL, Denise Pulket and husband Dennis of Atglen, PA, and Diane Liberto and husband Jack of Hanover, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St, Westminster, MD, with her nephew Mathew Raines officiating.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
