Eileen and family,
I didn't learn of Dennie's passing until recently. Our prayers and sympathies go to you all. He was a wonderful friend. He fixed my car once when Tom was deployed and I will always remember that kindness. May he rest in peace.

You were a great example of what a father should be. Kind, loving, strict when needed, teacher, role model, supportive, non judgmental, provider, playful and overall wonderful. You and mom were the best example of parents that any child could be blessed to have. You are missed, will be missed and will forever be loved and in our hearts.

Eileen and family,
So sorry to hear of Dennie's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. What great memories we all have of softball games, parties (playing charades), the Cabot 1979 graduation block party for all the local Patuxent Park grads and friends. RIP Dennie you will be missed by many.
Love to all - Sharon Owen Meinecke

It is with great regret that I will be unable to attend the celebration of the life of a shipmate, aircrewman, coworker and friend of almost 50 years. Eileen, our prayers are with you.

Dearest Dad, you were the best example of a father that I could have asked for. You provided for our family, were always there to support us, teach us and make sure that we enjoyed ourselves along the way. I know that you are whole again, resting in peace, but you will be tremendously missed until we meet again. All my love, your son, Dennis.

To my father, my friend, my dad. You are the light of my life, my strength and the wind beneath my wings. You have guided me, allowed me to fall and there to pick me up. As much as I feel at a loss, I prayed for your peace and tranquility, you will be missed more than words can every say. RIP, I LOVE YOU!
