Gloria Jean Kontz, age 71, of Hanover, PA died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at home.

            Born on July 28, 1944 in Manchester, MD, she was the daughter of the late Walter Leroy Miller and Naomi Mae (Erb) Miller.  She was predeceased by her husband, Levi Devilbiss Kontz in 2011.

            Gloria worked as a factory and warehouse worker for most of her life in various sewing factories, Random House, and Jos A. Bank.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, Facebooking, and playing games.

            Surviving are sons, Kevin Kontz and wife Louise of Westminster, and Jeffrey Kontz and wife Tammy of Hanover, PA; grandsons, Ryan “George”, Brett “Bud Bud” and Stevie “Piggy Man” Kontz; sister, Nancy M. Horick of Hanover, PA; brothers, Robert F. “Bobby” Miller and wife Sandra of Westminster and Larry G. Miller and wife Theresa of Westminster; sister-in-law and devoted friend, Patricia Kontz of New Windsor.

            She was predeceased by a daughter, Tina Kontz; and by siblings, Linda Knight, Patricia Crandell, Shirley Warehime, Walter Miller, Jr. and Roy “Sonny” Miller.

            Services and interment will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Westminster, MD.
