I worked with Harry at CMS, and knew him for almost his entire career, as we started working at about the same time. He found his niche in the Coordination of Benefits area and never left it. I knew him better from our extracurricular activities. We both played softball and volleyball for the dreaded Binks. Harry was our hard-hitting shortstop, once winning a game with a walkoff three run homer! He was one of our few stars.

Harry excelled at post game activities at Monaghan's Pub. His quick with made him a hit as we dissected each loss (or win). He would razz his hunting buddies Zan and Marlin on their play, always with a sly grin.

Harry had one memorable moment in volleyball. An opponent outright lied about touching one of our spikes. Shortly thereafter, the same guy blasted one that ricocheted off Harry's hands and went out of bounds. The referee, who knew Harry, asked him if he had touched the ball. With a saintly min, Harry replied No. We got the point and so did the guy who had cheated!

My thoughts and prayers go out to Nancy and to the rest of his family. Harry was a good man, who had a penchant for spicing things up with his antics! He will be missed, a lot.

To all of Harry's Family,
It is with sadness that I've read of Harry's passing. As a neighbor from Bay View, our community has changed, but one thing that will never change is the influence all of the Gamble family has had in our little part of Cecil County. Even though he hasn't lived in Bay View for a long time, he will be missed. My thoughts will be with you all during this time.
Sincerely,
Melissa (Trimble) Gould
(Doris and Ernie Trimble's daughter)
