Sharon Diana “Sherry” Brunk, 54, of Taneytown, MD, died peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at her home.  Sherry was born March 15, 1962 in Westminster, MD.  She was the devoted and loving wife of Wayne Brunk.       

             Sherry’s joy in life was being a homemaker.  She was a loving, caring person who gave freely of herself to others.  She enjoyed cooking, doing craft projects, and collecting items depicting angels and cows. Sherry loved flowers.  She was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan.  More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who delighted in giving gifts to others.

            Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters, Cristy Bullock and husband Joe, Nena Green and husband Andrew, and Jacky Brunk; grandchildren, Olivia, Nathan, Austin, Jocelyn, Madison, Tommy, Christian, and Brayden.  She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Madison Elizabeth Brunk.  

            Services are private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.  Memorial contributions to help defray funeral expenses may be made to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD, 21157.
