To My Family,
We will miss her but never forget her. Shirley was a beautiful person with a beautiful smile and sparkling blue eyes. She was a strong person and a fighter. This was evident from her passion for all of her causes, including family, horses, bunnies, and everything she touched. She was a great photographer too. Memories will always sustain and comfort us and help us to cope with our loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Revelation 21:3-5 Love, Ruth and Len Wickham

Dear Leisner family. I am very sorry to have read of the recent death of Shirley. Please accept my most sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be very comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and also at Revelation 21:3-5. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones, as well as do away with all the causes we have for suffering, including sickness, pain & death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will likewise comfort your family also during this most difficult time in your lives.

Jessie, Katie, Cathy, Debbie, Rachel, and all those who loved her, just want you to know I personally will miss her the rest of my life as well. She was one of my all time favorite people. I will miss all the good old Bunny Days, girlfriend days, girl's night out dinners with her. Her toughness over the past years battling her illness was amazing to me. I am grateful I got to see her at Barb's on New Years Eve. I would have come with Barb last week but had/have bad bronchitis and figured that would not be helpful for her or her caregivers. When I left on New Years Eve I told her "see you next time" And I believe there will be a next time. Somewhere, somehow. Thinking of you all and praying for peace and comfort. When my mother died 29 yrs. ago my boss sent me the following by Emily Dickenson
"The bustle in a house
The morning after death
Is the solemnest of industries
Enacted upon earth.

The sweeping up of heart
And putting love away
We shall not want to use
Until eternity."
I found it meaningful---hope you do too! Love Miss Alice and Family
