Stanley Gustav Lupinski, Jr., 61, of Emmitsburg, MD, died on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD.  Born November 2, 1954 in McKees Rock, PA, he was the son of Elizabeth (Jurena) Lupinski of Emmitsburg, and the late Stanley Lupinski, Sr.

            Stanley was a carpenter and worked for several companies over the years.  He enjoyed shooting pool and watching college basketball games.  He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He loved spending time with family and friends, and especially enjoyed interacting with kids.

            Surviving in addition to his mother, are brother, Joseph Lupinski, and sister, Marie Volland and husband Robert, all of Merritt Island, FL; niece, Casie Ott; and nephew, Robert Lupinski.  In addition to his father, Stanley was predeceased by a brother, Michael Lupinski.

            A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 47 DePaul St., Emmitsburg, MD, 21727, with the Rev. Charles F. Krieg, C.M. as celebrant.  Interment will be private at a later date.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
