Vivian Mary Stonesifer Hahn, 94, of Taneytown, MD died peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taneytown.

          Born February 16, 1923 in Frederick County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Mary E. (Gordon) Stonesifer.  She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Truman Hahn, Sr. in 1992.

          Vivian was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Taneytown.  She worked for 23 years in the cafeteria of Taneytown Elementary School for the Carroll County Board of Education.

          Surviving are daughter, Connie Johnson and husband Clark of Michigan; sons, Edgar “Eddie” T. Hahn, Jr. and wife Mary Eileen of Mount Airy, and Michael Hahn and wife Colleen; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Edwin Koons of Taneytown.

          She was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Koons and by three sisters.

          The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Taneytown, with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. officiating.  Private burial was held in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

          In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 38 W. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD  21787.

          Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, in Taneytown.
