Carol "Susie" Hann

Carol Sue “Susie” Hann, 62, of Frederick passed from this life on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Ballenger Creek in Frederick, Maryland.

Born on July 23, 1961, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, she is the daughter of Marie Sanders Olher and the late Sylvester Wesley Hann; and stepdaughter of Georgia Frances Hann (Biddinger).  

Susie graduated from Catoctin High School in 1979.  Susie was very loving to everyone. She loved animals including her cat Kitty Pumpkin. Susie enjoyed many things. Among her favorites were spending time with family and friends, shopping, listening to classic rock, watching TV or cooking her favorite recipes.

She is survived by her only child, John Page and his wife Shani; her grandchildren John Jr, Antonio, Tyler, Kayleb and Kaylee Page; her siblings Paul, Sr. and his wife Stacy, Sharon Hann, and her stepbrother James Musselwhite and his wife Shonda; her uncle Roland Sanders and his wife Donna Sanders; her aunts Bonnie Rexroth and her husband Dick and Kathleen Lawson and her husband Michael, Nancy Sanders and her Aunt Audrey Wolfe. 

She was predeceased by her brother Timmy, her uncles Harold and Sterling Sanders, John Hann and his wife Betty, Harold Hann and his wife Nancy, and Zene Wolfe; and her aunts Carmen Seiss and her husband Raymond, Shirley Burgee and her husband Alvin, Gloria Burgee and her husband Rhudel, and Delores Rice and her husband Joseph.

The family will receive friends 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 210 West Main Street, Emmitsburg (21727) where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. David L. Meador officiating.  Interment will follow in the St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, 8619 Blacks Mill Road, Creagerstown (Thurmont 21788).
