To the Snyder Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a great guy, and we have such good memories of family get togethers at Manor Apts and Landsend Drive. The kids playing all day - they were young and so were we!
We hope that Bob and Peter Sr. are riding the rails together up there in the Amtrak skyways. Love to all of you, Silvain/Wright Family

I lived down the street from Bobby on Maple Ave. in Trenton, New Jersey. He was one of the nicest people I had the pleasure to know. I will always remember his cheerful, warm smile and welcoming manner to everyone. We lost touch over the years, but reconnected on facebook. I commented to him that he never met a train he didn't like. He agreed with this statement. May you Rest In Peace my old friend. We'll meet up again at the next station stop.💜

Bob was a good high school friend. I saw him briefly at my sister Connie’s house on a return trip from Korea in the 1980’s where I was stationed in the Army. We mostly lost touch, but regained contact again several years ago via the internet. I enjoyed the railroad oriented posts that he would send from time to time. I am saddened by his loss.

I worked with Bob over the years. He was a genuine friend and a gentleman. I loved his funny emails. Although we're separated by many miles and years, I feel as though I've lost a dear friend and I have.

Bob and I worked together back in the late 70's and early 80's in Gaithersburg. He was a wonderful person who had passion and I am so thankful that after years of separation, Facebook brought us back together. We were quite a special team back then and he will be missed by all of us. My deepest condolences to all his family. I imagine him riding his last train to heaven. Rest in peace my friend.
