Lawrence Earl “Buck” Evans, 64, of Taneytown, MD died unexpectedly on Monday, August 28, 2017 at his home.  Born June 22, 1953 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Mary Lee (Spencer) Wolfrey of Cross Junction, VA and the late Alfred Earl Evans, Sr.  He was the husband of Mary Lou (Patrick) Evans.

Buck was a graduate of Andover High School, class of ’71.  He was a carpenter by trade and worked for several area construction companies building houses.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and going to car shows.  He was a collector of Zippo lighters and pocket knives.  He enjoyed nature and loved animals of all kinds.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are son, Lawrence Earl Evans II of DE; step-son, Jonathan McClements of DE; step-daughters, Valerie King and Brianna Patrick of Baltimore; siblings, Nicky Mason and husband Randy, Alfred Earl Evans, Jr. and wife Valerie, and Michaelene Evans, all of Cross Junction, VA, and Tina Evans of WV; grandsons, Kyndall and Adrien Evans; granddaughter, Haley Guest; and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.  He was predeceased by sister, Sharon Miller.
