Charles "Charlie" Henry Obituary

Charles “Charlie” Donald Henry, 74, of Finksburg, Maryland, died on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.

Born on June 13, 1943 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Donald G. and Dorothy V. (Knouse) Henry.  He was the husband of Peggy (Hymiller) Henry.

Charlie worked for 27 years with Telemecanique in Finksburg and then for 22 years with English American as a shipping clerk.  He loved rockabilly music and his little dog “Angel”.

Surviving in addition to his wife are son, Donald Henry of Sykesville; daughter, Terri Henry of W.VA.; step-children, Melissa Davis of Manchester, Shawn Lewellyn of W.VA., and Joseph Lewellyn and fiancée Kathy Nicholson of Reisterstown; brother, Edgar Lee Henry, Sr. and wife Treva of Westminster; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 17th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
