Christine (Heary) Louk

          Christine Frances Louk, 66, of Taneytown, MD died peacefully on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.  Born December 13, 1951 in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Lois (MacPhail) Heary.  She was the fiancée of Gary Trobee of Taneytown.

          Chris was an Administrative Assistant for the State of Maryland.  She was of the Roman Catholic faith.  She enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time at the beach.  Chris loved dogs and was a passionate advocate for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

          In addition to her fiancé, Gary, she is survived by a sister, JoAnne Schiller and husband Val of Crownsville, MD, and a brother, Matt Heary and fiancée Donna Wanner of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

          A private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg, MD.  Memorial contributions in Chris’s name may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), 424 E. 92nd St., New York, NY 10128.

          Arrangements have been entrusted to MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Taneytown.
