To Gordon,s loved ones.
Last night we had his 50th class reunion and I couldn't wait to catch up with him.Everytime we connected we would promised to get together through an art show but something would get in the way. This should be a lesson to all of us to live for the moment not for later.
Gordon and I went through church,MYF,elementary schooling further. He had such a big heart .An example,we were only 9 when my Dad passed in the summer and I had seen him several times and never mentioned it. One day he got me in a corner and asked "why didn't you tell me your Dad passed away"I knew I didn't 't have an answer but he looked me straight in the eyes a d said don't you know that's what friends are for.
His wisdom was there at that age.God bless us all for losing such a gentle soul.

Oh Gordon!  I was enjoying planning our new trip to France with you!  I can't believe you are not here…..I'm still expecting the phone to ring.  So sorry, Marge.  My family has some wonderful memories of traveling with 'Dr. Danger' in France when we went 18 years ago.  Such fun!  Gordon will be missed, and he will be remembered!

My thoughts and prayers are with Margaret, Ian, Leah, Marina, and Ethan at this difficult time.  Gordon left us too soon, but we were blessed by the time we had with him.  I wish you peace and fond memories.  He was a precious gift to us- a gifted, kindred soul who loved sharing the beauty of the world he found around him. We will miss Gordon.

Margaret,
We are so saddened by the news of Gordon's passing.  In our freshman year at MICA, you and I were walking down the steps in the Dolphin Street Bldg.; Gordon passed us going up; you looked at me and said "I love that guy, he is such a cutie pie!"  I know you both loved each other from the start....what a precious gift to share your lives together for 42 years.  We will be praying for you and your family at this time to feel the peace and comfort that only Jesus can bring to your hearts.  Love, Allan and Pat

Gordon, I meet you when I was one day old, so not only have you been my wonderful cousin, but my oldest friend. Our last dinner together I was reminded of so many great adventures we shared as kids and what you brought to everyone you encountered as a man. I am so honored that we are family.

Gordon....you left us way too early. I will always cherish the years we all had to be with you. I will still make your fantastic Hamburger Stew that you made for us when you and Marge came and stayed with us in West Virginia. You were a unique man and will be sadly missed. Tell all our loved ones and pets in Heaven we will see them again one day!
