Irvin Goetz Obituary

Irvin Norman Goetz, 76, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at his home.

Born May 1, 1942 in North Dakota, he was the son of the late Gottfried and Hilda (Klatt) Goetz.  He was the husband of 56 years to Lynda L. Goetz.

Irv was a sales manager for 35 years with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Rhonda Moon and husband Gary of Winchester, VA, Sandra Lawrence and husband Rick of New Windsor, and Robb Goetz and wife Michelle of Pikesville; grandchildren, Robbie W. Lawrence, Ally, Brett, and Connor Goetz; brothers, Donald Goetz and wife Bonnie of Tucson, Arizona, and Delmar Goetz of Lodi, Wisconsin; sister, Judith Hager and husband Ken of Devils Lake, ND, and their families.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at St. Luke’s (Winter’s) Lutheran Church, 701 Green Valley Road (Rt. 75), New Windsor with Rev. Anne C. Durboraw officiating.  Inurnment will follow in St. Luke’s (Winter’s) Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.  Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belford Rd., Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL, 32256 (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).
