Jeanne R. "June" (O'Connor) Crawford

Jeanne R. “June” Crawford, 88, of Westminster, Maryland died peacefully on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Golden Crest Assisted Living in Hampstead.

She was born on December 22, 1929 in Wellsville, Ohio, daughter of the late Francis and Betty O’Connor.  She was the wife of the late Irvin Edward “Bud” Crawford.

The oldest of six children, she was predeceased by 1 brother and 2 sisters, and is survived by 2 sisters.  She moved to Baltimore in 1943, where she met Bud Crawford in 1947 and married him in 1949.  Together they lived in Baltimore and raised 4 children, then Federalsburg, before moving to Westminster in 2001.  She was cared for lovingly by the staff of Golden Crest Assisted Living since July 2017.  June loved the family dog, Jessie.  She also loved playing bingo (when she won) and going to church.

Surviving are children, Dennis Crawford and wife Linda of Baltimore, Lois Parks and husband Richard of Wetumpka, AL, Timothy Crawford of Vero Beach, FL, and Lisa Hecker and husband Fred of Westminster; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. 

She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Maureen.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester with Rev. Michael Roach as celebrant.  Family and friends may gather at 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Burial will follow in Deer Park Methodist Cemetery, Westminster.  The family will receive friends on Friday, February 16th from 5-7 p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St, Westminster.
