Jonathan Lawrence “Jon” Kuykendall, 28, of Fairfield, PA, died on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at SpiriTrust Lutheran the Village at Gettysburg in Gettysburg, PA.  Born January 15, 1989 in Gettysburg, he was the son of Arlene (Waggoner) Kuykendall of Fairfield, PA and Steven Kuykendall of Biglerville, PA.

Jon formerly worked in the maintenance department at The Littlestown Foundry.  He enjoyed working on cars, 4-wheeling, and listening to rap music.

Surviving, in addition to his mother and father, are sons, Layne Atland and Aiden Haines; sister, Noel Heward and her fiancé Paul Shultz of Gettysburg, PA; nephews, Daniel, Klayton, and Benjamin; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, MD.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until the time of the service.
