Kristy Coblentz-Hernandez

            Kristy Michelle Coblentz-Hernandez, 33, of Hyattsville, MD died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her home.  Born December 19, 1984 in Frederick, she was the daughter of Terry A. Coblentz of Thurmont and the late Susan Kim (Gray) Coblentz.

            Kristy was a self-employed caregiver.  She loved shopping and being with her  two children, Jason Caden and Kayla Michelle.  In addition to her father, son and daughter, she is survived by sisters, Jamie Feaster and husband Paul of Martinsburg, WV, Kelly Hebert of Smithsburg, and Jenna Coblentz and fiancé Michael Liles of Thurmont; brother, John Ryan Coblentz of Thurmont; grandparents, Geraldine Coblentz, and Roger & Anita Carol Gray, all of Thurmont; sister-in-law, Michelle Coblentz of Highfield; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her mother Kim, she was predeceased by a brother, Terry C. Coblentz, a sister, Courtney Coblentz and grandfather, John Coblentz.

            A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018 at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, MD with Pastor John Seay officiating.  Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Thurmont.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5-8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
