Linda Marie (Brawner) Rill Kisner, 63, of Charles Town, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Gettysburg Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.  Born May 15, 1954, in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mae (Crum) Brawner.  She was the loving wife of the late Ron Kisner.

            Linda was a seamstress at H.L. Hartz Clothing Company in Frederick for several years.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her dog “Baby Girl,” and having coffee with her friends at Sheetz.

            She is survived by sons, Roger Rill Jr. of Orrtanna, PA, Kevin Rill and wife Karen of Fairfield, PA, and Kenneth Gumm, Jr. and wife Melissa of Gettysburg, PA; grandchildren, Kenneth Gumm III, Andrew Gumm, and Jennifer Rill; sisters, Sandra Muench, Julia Fisher and husband Dan of Fairfield, PA, and Lucy Gumm of Gettysburg, PA. Linda was “mamaw” to Shannon Sanders, Amy Gumm, Ashley “Boo” Gumm, Hailey Shelleman, and many, many others.  She was predeceased by sister, Judy Hawbaker, and brothers, Jerry “Toad” Brawner, Charles “Butch” Crum, and Michael Gochenour.

            A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. Anthony Shrine Parish,16150 St. Anthony Rd., Emmitsburg, MD, with the Rev. J. Collin Posner as celebrant.  Interment will follow at Elias Lutheran Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, MD.
