Michael Dylan Arbaugh, 25, of Westminster, Maryland, died suddenly on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Carroll Hospital Center.

Born on August 26, 1992 in Westminster, MD, he was the son of Michael David Arbaugh (Audrey Warren) and Tammy Dawn (Franks) Schreck, both of Westminster, MD.  He is also survived by his wife of 4 years, Katherine Leigh (Speicher) Arbaugh.

Mike was a graduate of Francis Scott Key High School, class of 2010, and planned on entering the U.S. Army upon graduation.  He went thru his initial Army training camp, but was injured and discharged.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator, had a passion for riding motorcycles, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all kinds of sports.  His love and laughter was contagious to his family and friends, and his wife and daughters were the love of his life.

Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are daughters, Reagan Leigh and Jade McKinnley Arbaugh; brothers, Joshua Wade Berryman of VA, and Eli Jackson Arbaugh of TN; maternal grandmother, Penny Dawn Franks of Westminster.

He was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Andrew Jackson Franks, Sr., and by paternal grandparents, Frances Eli and Theda Louise Arbaugh.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Meadow Branch Church of the Brethren, 818 Old Taneytown Rd. Westminster with Pastor Tom Richard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Meadow Branch Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 20th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis Street, Westminster, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
