Ryan Teague Obituary

Justin Ryan Teague, 28, of Supply, NC, formerly of Hanover, PA, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at his residence in Supply.  Born October 12, 1989 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Wade Teague of Pasadena, MD and Shawna Haker of Hanover, PA.

Ryan was a First Mate for Impulsive Charters, a fishing charter company in Southport, NC.  His love of the sea and for fishing began at the young age of 5, when he began offshore fishing.  He was following his life-passion through a career involving that love.  Ryan’s relationship with his employer, Capt. Paul Thompson, grew deep throughout the years.  Ryan was also a student at the University of North Carolina’s Wilmington campus, where he displayed a strong work ethic and shared passionate perspectives in the classroom.  He will be remembered for the love and compassion that he gave to his family and friends every day and the utmost respect that he had for the elderly.  Ryan will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him, as his kindness and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on many.

Surviving, in addition to his father Wade and his mother Shawna, are grandmothers, Josephine Teague of Baltimore, MD and Faye Elaine Haker of Supply, NC; sisters, Kirby Toolan (Sean) of Philadelphia, PA and Kaylee Frazier (Storm) of Quantico, VA; nephew, Shane Toolan; nieces, Kyla Toolan and Blakely Frazier; aunt, Shelia Bowman of Westminster, MD; uncles, Michael Scott Haker of Dallastown, PA and Kevin Haker (Kim) of Finksburg, MD; and several cousins.  Ryan was predeceased by his grandfathers, William James Teague and James Jerome Haker; and an aunt, Marianne Bosley.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 3939 Gamber Rd., Finksburg, MD with the Rev. Robert T. Wellman officiating.  Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 7th at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ryan’s name may be made to the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation, 297 SW 41st Street, Renton, WA 98057.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
