Scott Edward Schymansky, 36, of Hanover, Pennsylvania, formerly of Carroll County, Maryland went home to the Lord on Friday, December 1, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at the York Hospital.

Born July 28, 1981 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Ski and Cheri Schymansky of Hanover.

He attended Crossroads Community Church in Hampstead.  He enjoyed camping and spending time with his nieces and nephews playing games and having fun.  Scott was always trying to help others and bring them happiness with his jokes and fun loving attitude toward life. 

Surviving him in addition to his parents are maternal grandmother, Virginia Sabat and husband Joseph of Hanover; sisters, Lisa Lawson and husband Neil of Hampstead, and Stephanie Schymansky of Hanover; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Lucas, Bradley, Miranda, Carley, and Malerie.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster with Jim Powell and Niel Augustine officiating.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Community Church c/o:  Men of Standard ministry, 895 Leidy Road, Westminster, MD  21157.
