Donald L. King

Donald L. King, 94, of Westminster, MD, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023 after a full and long life.  A native of Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late Reno C. King, Sr. and Ardath F. King.

He was predeceased by his wife, Marie B. King; son, Donald L. King, Jr.; and brothers Reno C. King and Ira N. King.

Surviving are his children, David King and wife Beth, of Pickerington, OH; Karen Sutherland and husband Brian, of Crisfield, MD; Lynne Wiessner and husband Gary, of Summerville, SC; Connie Mauk and husband Lawrence, of Marriottsville, MD; 7 grandchildren, and l great-granddaughter.

Don enjoyed tennis, sailing, golf, woodworking and telling stories.  More than anything else, he loved his family and was proud of each and every one.

A memorial service in his honor will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at the Carroll Lutheran Village Chapel, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, MD 21158.
