Betty Jane Graybill

On July 14th, 2026, Betty Jane Graybill (nee Shifflett) of Taneytown, MD passed away. Born on April 27th, 1945 in Uniontown to the late Virginia and late George Shifflett, she was the loving wife of over 50 years to the late Allen Graybill, Sr.

Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, puzzles and gardening.

Surviving are sons, Allen Glenn Graybill, Jr. of Taneytown, and Dwayne Graybill and partner Christine Klein of Taneytown; daughter, Angela Wilhide and husband Jason of Littlestown, PA; sister, Diane; grandchildren, Steven, Stacy, Skylar, Maranda, Kristina, Levi, Hunter, and 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Elizabeth, Mary, and brothers, George and Louis.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown on Saturday, July 18th from 10 AM to 11 AM, with a memorial service starting at 11 AM.
