Beverly Ann Fitzgerald, 83, passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Homewood Living at Plum Creek in Hanover, PA. Born on January 9, 1943 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Dorothy A. Kelly. Beverly was the high school sweetheart and loving wife of the late James Edward “Jef” Fitzgerald, Sr., whom she was married to for 50 years.

In her spare time, she was an active member of Vigilant Hose Company, #6 in Emmitsburg and was a regular congregant of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church for many years.
She was the loving and proud mother of James Edward Fitzgerald, Jr., and Kevin James Fitzgerald, both of Emmitsburg; cherished sister of Judy Lynn Henshaw and her husband Dr. William Henshaw of Pinehurst, NC, and Gary Kelly of Walkersville; devoted aunt of Laura Foley, Jeanette Dusci, Stephen Kuhn, and Joseph Kuhn, in addition to numerous other nieces and nephews.
Beverly was predeceased by sister-in-law Patricia Kelly, formerly of Walkersville.
The family extend their appreciation to the nursing staff at Homewood Living for the loving care she received from the nursing staff.
