Beverly Ann Wetzel, 84, passed away peacefully at her home in Gettysburg surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 15, 2025. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Edward W. Wetzel, on February 20, 1974.
Beverly was born on June 18, 1940 in Frederick, Maryland to James and Catherine Wiles. she worked at Knouse Foods in Orrtanna, PA for 23 years before retiring.
Beverly is survived by five siblings, Evelyn Green, Mary Beihl, Betty Morgan, Vernon Wiles and Donald Wiles. She also leaves behind five children, Mildred Manahan, Richard Manahan, Edward W. Wetzel, Jr., David L. Wetzel, and Bonnie Plank, as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 11:00 am. to 1:00 pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Emmitsburg, MD. Following the service at 12:00 pm, Beverly will be laid to rest at Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery.
