Catherine Mae Weishaar

Catherine Mae Weishaar, 86, of Taneytown, died suddenly, November 15, 2025, at her home. Born August 6, 1939, in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter Elwood and Bertha Irene (Wetzel) Wilson. She was the devoted wife of 59 years to the late Roy Daniel Weishaar.

Catherine was the solid foundation of her family, and lived for her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed camping at Chincoteague, cookouts with her family, and other foodie activities; making others jealous by eating like a horse but staying thin.

Surviving are daughter, Melissa; grandchildren; Heather, Jessica, April, and Robert; great grandchildren, Austin, Benny, Joellen, Matty, Adam, Hope, Robert, Layla, and Gracie; and great great grandchildren, Raelynn, and Kinsley.

In accordance with Catherine’s wishes, services will be private.
