Charles "Mike" Mikel Stonesifer, 75, of Taneytown, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2026, after suffering a heart attack. Born March 9, 1951, in Gettysburg, Pa, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Stonesifer and Eva Null Stonesifer. His sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Mike was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend. He was known for his strong work ethic, unwavering integrity, and quiet strength. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Mike touched countless lives through his kindness, generosity, and selfless nature. His steady presence and compassionate heart made him someone others could always depend on.

Above all else, Mike cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Stonesifer; his son, Vince Stonesifer & Daughter in-law Lauren Stonesifer; his daughter, Adria Stonesifer & Son in-law Waylon Yohe; and his cherished grandchildren, Harper, Ava, Maddox and Madeline, who brought him immense pride and joy. He treasured every moment spent with his family, creating memories that will be carried in their hearts forever.

Though his passing was unexpected, Mike leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and compassion that will continue to inspire those who knew him. He will be remembered not only for what he accomplished, but for the way he made people feel—with warmth, respect, and unconditional love. Mike had a charismatic charm and unforgettable sense of humor - loved to play jokes, would leave random notes, might even call and hang up on you, or if you were lucky enough, an empty beer can left on your front seat. To know Mike was to love him.
