Clay Lester

On Tuesday March 31, 2026, Clayton “Clay” Edwin Lester passed away at his home in Keymar, MD. Born on November 22, 1983 he was the son of Constance Maggard nee Moser and the late Daniel Lester. He was the loving husband of Amanda Michele Lester for 9 wonderful years.

Clay loved to spend time playing with his children, fishing, hanging out with his friends, and listening to music. If he was asked a question, he would often respond to you with a song. Two of his favorite bands were the Allman Brothers Band and Led Zeppelin.

In addition to his wife and mother, Clay is survived by his sons Daniel and Connor; his stepfather Van Maggard; and his in laws Gregory and Yvonne Crane. He is also survived by a long list of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He will truly be missed by everyone.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday April 7, 2026 from 5-8pm at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 136 E. Baltimore Street Taneytown (21787). A visitation will also be held Wednesday April 8, 2026 from 10-11am at Keysville Lutheran Church. A Funeral Service will begin at 11am with Pastor Stephanie Steele officiating. Interment is private.
