Conard Lee Bridges

Conard Lee Bridges, 85, of Union Bridge, Maryland, passed on September 28, 2026 at the Dove House, Westminster. Born on April 27, 1941 in Bakersville, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Dollie Hoilman and the late Massey Lee Bridges. Conard was the devoted husband of the late Pauline Bernice Bridges; loving father of Randy Bridges and his wife, Barbara, and Tammy Kemper-Miller; cherished grandfather of Daniel Bridges and his wife, Leslie, Tyler Bridges and his wife, Stephanie, Joshua Bridges and his wife, Katie, Natalia Stoner and her husband, Brandon, the late Samantha Kemper, and Devon Miller; cherished great grandfather of Annmarie Bridges, Axel Bridges, Peyton Bridges, Koe Bridges, Maddox Yates, Cameron Stoner, Rylie Bridges, Scarlett Stoner, Catherine Kemper, Atlas Miller, Lilith Miller, and Makenzie Miller. He was preceded in death by his siblings, the late Clifford Yelton, the late Charles Bridge, the late Barbara Shorb, the late Jesse Hoilman, Jr., and the late Lane Garland.

Conard was a carpenter and mechanic for Westinghouse for many years before becoming a master assembler for Northrop Grumman, assembling dash units for F16 fighter jets. He was a handyman who enjoyed hunting and mowing the lawn.

There will be a memorial service held at Taneytown Baptist Church, to which Conard was a member. The day and time of the service is still to be determined.
