Darren Lorelle Geisinger

Darren Lorelle Geisinger of Taneytown, MD, died Monday March 2, 2026, at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster. Born July 7th, 1962, in Frederick, Maryland, he was the son of the late Charles L. Geisinger and Mary Louise Sauerwein Geisinger.

In the early years, Darren grew up on the family farm on Teeter Road, and he graduated in 1980 from Francis Scott Key High School. For the past 40 years he delivered the Carroll County Times and spent many hours at Gettysburg Battlefield.

Darren is survived by his brother Dennis Geisinger and his wife Debbie of Taneytown, his sister Deanna Davey and her husband Mark of Tucson, Arizona.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 11am at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, P.A., 136 E. Baltimore Street, Taneytown, Maryland 21787. The family will receive friends at 10am until the time of service with Pastor Cary Moorman officiating. Interment will follow the service at Grace United Church of Christ, Taneytown.
