David A. Hartdagen

David A. Hartdagen, 58, of Fairfield, PA passed peacefully at his home on July 1, 2025. Born on February 9, 1967 in Gettysburg, PA, Dave grew up in Emmitsburg, MD. He was the beloved son of Ruth (Weddle) and the late Charles Hartdagen.

In addition to his mother, Dave is survived by his sister, Kathy (Keith) Delauter and his brother, Mike(Carole) Hartdagen and their families. Adam (Colleen) Delauter, Renee (Nick) Nowaczyk, and Bradley (Kelsey) Hartdagen, and great-nieces Blakelyn and Kinsley Hartdagen.

After graduating from Catoctin High School, Dave worked at Mount St. Mary's University for 25 years and Ft. Detrick for 15 years before his retirement this year.

In accordance with Dave's wishes, a private service was held on July 7, 2025.
