Donald Paul Slegona

Donald Paul Slegona, age 76, of Taneytown, died on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at home. Born December 31, 1946 in Hackensack, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph and Irene (Pulaski) Slegona. He was the wife of Lorraine Kachuk Slegona.

Donald loved the outdoors. He took pride in his lawn and garden. Fishing was his favorite past time. Donald worked for the NJ Schoolboard where he was valued for his diverse knowledge and experience in many different trades. He could be counted on to fix just about any repair that was needed. Spending time with his family was always a highlight of his day.

Surviving are his wife Lorraine Kachuk Slegona of Taneytown, MD; daughters, Jennifer Slegona of FL and Stephanie Gable and husband Mitch of Westminster, MD; brother, Brian Slegona and wife Judy of NJ; grandchildren, Easton and Riley, many nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Irene.
