Donna Six Utermahlen

Donna Six Utermahlen, 77, of Taneytown passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Frederick Crossing. Born November 20, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Newton Six and Rita Six, nee Miller; devoted wife of the late William Edgar Utermahlen, Sr., who she married six days after her 18th birthday, November 26, 1966 and was happily married for 56 years until his death September 25, 2022; beloved mother of William Edgar “Bill” Utermahlen, Jr., and his wife Ann Denise; loving and proud grandmother of Nicholas and Matthew.

Donna was a 1966 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School in Taneytown and after being married to her high school sweetheart, she went to work for the Social Security Administration. She worked there on two separate occasions throughout her working years while making a loving home, and in between her time at the Social Security Administration, she went to work for the former Taneytown Bank and Trust Company at the main office in Taneytown. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her grandsons, cruises/adventures with Hazel, and golfing with her friends. She will be missed by all who know her.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, September 21, 2026 and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 136 East Baltimore Street, Taneytown (21787) where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev.
