Douglas K. Collins, Sr.

On July 16, 2026 Douglas K Collins, Sr. passed away. Born on October 4, 1965 to the late Claudia and the late Dennis Collins, Sr., he was the caring former husband of Valerie Collins; devoted father of Kristopher Collins and his wife Hope Sigmon, Brady Collins and his girlfriend Chylene Babb, and the late Douglas K. Collins, Jr.; dear brother of Dennis Collins, Jr. and Duane Collins.

Douglas was a navy veteran who worked as a sprinkler installer with American Life Safety Fire Protection. When he wasn’t spending time on the golf course, he enjoyed spending quality with his family and having a nice cold Budweiser at the bar with his friends. Douglas is also survived by his grandpuppies, Ares, Milo, and Hank.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 24th at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, Taneytown from 10 AM to 12 PM, with a memorial service starting at 12 PM.
