Douglas “Doug” Bauerlien, age 58 of Westminster, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at BridgingLife (Dove House) with the love of his life, friends and family surrounding him, talking and comforting him. He was the son of Carroll Bauerlien and Joyce Miller.
Doug was a friendly, hardworking man. He owned and operated a roofing business during the week and on weekends charted fishing trips on his boat Total Evasion. He also contracted with Baltimore City for snow removal. He loved fishing and cooking.
He is survived by his life partner, Shay Carr; brothers, Timothy and wife Melinda Bauerlien, Jerrod Bauerlien; nieces and nephews, Cory, Travis, Emory and Colton Bauerlien; stepsisters, Wanda Price and Melinda Stockslager and his Portuguese water dogs, Shimano and Tekota.
A memorial service will beheld on Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 1 to 6 pm at the VFW Post # 467, 519 Poole Rd., Westminster, MD.
