Edna Catherine Boone

Edna Catherine Boone, age 93 of Westminster, died at her home on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Born December 1, 1931, in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Serenus Curvin and Grace May Sell. She was the loving wife of Paul Chester Boone for 57 years, married August 29, 1969.Edna was a warm-hearted and caring individual who had a knack for humor even if her jokes were hit or miss. She cherished her time in Ocean City, relishing the beach life along with her love for traveling and crabbing. Above all, Edna treasured moments spent with family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. She was a life member of Mayberry First Church of God, and she loved her church friends.

Besides her husband Paul, she is survived by her children, Barbara May Wehrman (Bob McMillion) of Westminster, Gordon Warehime (Theresa) of Littlestown, PA, Morgan Warehime (Betty Ann) of Westminster, MD and Russell “Rusty” Boone (Deb Curtis) of Littlestown, PA, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her daughter Linda Holt and siblings, William, Glen, Edgar, Walter, Dale, Victor and her twin brother, Edwin Sell.

Per Edna’s wishes, a private family visitation and funeral will be held at the convenience of the family with interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Silver Run MD. A celebration of life will be planned for all who knew and loved Edna at a later date.
