Ernest J. Fredrikis

Ernest J Fredrikis (Ernie), age 86 of Littlestown, PA passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.

Born August 3,1938 in Vilnius, Lithuania, he was the son of the late Jonas E. and Elena Fredrikis.

Ernest was a very independent and standfast man. He loved spending summers camping at Mt. Creek Campground in Gardners, PA. He was also a sports enthusiast and loved following the Orioles and the Ravens and was also a diehard Alabama Crimson Tide fan!

He is survived by his companion of 20 years, Diane Snyder, sons Tony and wife Cheryl Fredrikis of Fairfield, PA, Mark G. and wife Margaret Fredrikis of Gettysburg, PA, Bill and wife Diane Fredrikis of Fairfield, PA, and Jayson T. Fredrikis of Littlestown, PA.

Grandchildren, Mark Fredrikis and partner Jamie Shank, Tara Johnson and husband Ron, Kyle Fredrikis and wife Marie, Elena Fredrikis, Lily Fredrikis, and Chase Foster and wife Ashley, and a sister, Bertha Rill of Hanover as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Anne Fredrikis, brothers Al Friedrikis and Billy Friedrikis.

A graveside service will be held on April 12, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery, 9540 Waynesboro Pk., Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
