Ernie Lee Livesay, 27, of Taneytown, MD, died on Monday, January 18, 2021 at York Hospital. Born November 16, 1993 in Morristown, TN, he was the son of Erika (Laird) Livesay of Westminster and Mark Livesay of Sykesville.
Ernie worked in construction and was employed by T.W. Perry Lumber Company in Woodbine. He attended Mosaic Christian Church in Elkridge, MD. He enjoyed listening to music, playing guitar, fishing, hanging out with his friends, and spending time with his family, especially his niece Jozie. Ernie loved being an uncle. He loved to laugh and could light up a room with his smile.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, and niece, Jozie Livesay, are brother, Zacc Livesay of Waynesboro; and other extended family members. Ernie will be sorely missed by his dog, Max.
The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD. Due to the COVID pandemic, a private funeral service for family members will follow at 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fender Play Foundation at www.fender.com.
