Ezra "Junior" Leroy Robertson, Jr., 69, of Union Bridge, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the York Specialty Hospital in York, PA. Born on January 19, 1953, he was the son of the late Ezra Leroy Robertson, Sr., and Mary Robertson, nee McClellan. He was the loving husband to Robin Lynn Robertson, nee Stultz, whom spent 35 years together.
He was a brick and block layer first for Robert Bitzel for about 17 years before working for Zappo Construction for over 20 years. He did masonry work for many of the local churches, including the Keystone at St. John’s Catholic Church in Westminster. He enjoyed fishing on boats and banks, watching Ravens Football, doing yardwork and tending to the garden, shooting guns, wrestling, going to the Friday/Saturday dances at the VFW, and of course, picking on the grandkids.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, June Yingling and husband Jason, Racheal Myers and husband Jake, Dottie Robertson and fiancé Rick Koch, Allen Robertson, Colleen Robertson, Jeremy Broadwater, April Latham, and Katey Cooke; sisters, Mae Vanfleet and husband Paul, Lynn Anderson and husband Andy; and 18 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his dog, Peanut, whom he loved dearly. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Rodney Leroy Robertson; grandson Malakai; and siblings Leroy Robertson, Roger Robertson, Ernest Robertson, and Jaunita Robertson.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2022, and again from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster, MD 21157. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Minto officiating. Burial will be private.
