Glenn Sible Graybill, age 62, of Taneytown, died Monday, June 2, 2025 at home. Born in Baltimore, Glenn was a foster child raised by the Graybill family, who bestowed upon him their family name. He was a 1982 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School. He worked for the National Geographic Society in Gaithersburg for 12 years. For the past 30 years, he was employed by Crouse Ford of Taneytown. Glenn enjoyed country music, spending time with friends, and caring for his little dog, Dixie. Surviving is a foster sister, Shirley Graybill Bell of Middletown. He was predeceased by foster parents Daniel and Alberta Graybill; foster sister, H. Ruth Graybill; and foster brothers, Larry Graybill, Dennis Graybill, and Allen Graybill, Sr. He is fondly remembered by special friends Allen Graybill, Jr., Doug Pearce, Roger Brown, Kevin Atkins, the Crouse family, and employees of Crouse Ford Taneytown. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 26 from 2-4p.m and 6-8p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME P.A., 136 E. Baltimore Street, Taneytown, MD 21787. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27 at 11a.m. at the funeral home.
