Janellen Furman

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, Janellen Furman passed away peacefully at Dove House in Westminster. Born on Saturday, April 28, 1951, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter, Mayer Leonard Furman and the late Libby Iris Rothman. In 1969, she graduated from Milford Mill High School before pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
Janellen was always true to self and was a kind, loving, and empathetic woman. She was an incredibly principled woman who loved her family with her whole heart. In addition to spending time with her family, Janellen loved singing and was gifted with a gorgeous voice. She enjoyed watching all types of singing shows such as American Idol.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 18 years, William Wrightson. Janellen is survived by her esteemed father, Mayer Leonard Furman; treasured sister, Debra Haarburger and husband, Sheldon; cherished grandsons, Preston Haley, Austin Haley, Christopher Haley, and Lawrence Haley; beloved nephew, Jay Harrburger, dearest niece, Marci Rozen and her husband, Matthew, and her adored grandnephews, Alex and Eli.
Family will receive friends for a memorial service on September 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, Maryland 20904.
