Joseph Nicholas Selby, III, 72, of Westminster, Maryland, passed away at Dove House surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, July 16, 2025. Born on Friday, September 12, 1952, to the late Joseph N. Selby, Jr. and Betty M. Selby née Street in Olney, Maryland. On Saturday, November 23, 1974, he married Esther Frances, his wife of 50 years and the love of his life.
Joseph enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved the Beatles, Bluegrass and everything John Lennon. He enjoyed fishing with his children and grandchildren and working on his leather crafts.
Besides his beloved wife, Joseph is survived by his cherished sons, Joseph N. Selby IV and Michael Selby; beloved grandchildren: Adam Selby, Mya, Carly, Luke, and Ryan; and great granddaughter, Lana Jane. He will also be missed by his many friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster (21157). Funeral Service will be private.
