Karen Marie Ruppert, 51, of Westminster, Maryland, died on Thursday, February 23, 2017 following an extended illness at the Carroll Hospice Dove House.
Born on April 13, 1965 in Westminster, Maryland, she was the daughter of Ruth L. (Ball) Ruppert of Westminster and the late Joseph “Whiz” Charles Ruppert.
Karen was a managing editor for the Walters Kluer Medical Publishing Company, and enjoyed traveling with her many friends and also for her job.
Surviving in addition to her mother are an aunt, Libby Hooper, cousins, Henry and Michele Ball, Carol and Kevin Shipley; brother-in-law, William Johnson; niece, Angela Johnson; great-nephew, Riley Kordelski; close friend, Nathan Kordelski; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and second-cousins.
She was predeceased by a sister, Cherl D. Johnson.
The family would like to acknowledge the many acts of kindness received from the nurses and staff at Carroll Hospice Dove House.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Westminster.
