Kevin Charles Eyler

Kevin C Eyler, 61, of Rocky Ridge Md died peacefully at home on April 4, 2026 with his family by his side. Born September 30, 1964 in Gettysburg Pa he was the son of Charles and Betty Eyler.

Kevin worked for many years as a plumber. He was known as an expert in his field in which he did both residential and commercial work. He was a member of Elias Lutheran Church in Emmitsburg, MD. He spent many hours fishing on the waterways of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. In his youth he would accompany his father and many fishing companions on trips to the Chesapeake and Delaware Bays. Kevin treasured his time spent with family and friends. In his adulthood he would gather friends and venture out in his beloved vintage Seabird. Among the memorable fish he landed was a large black drum caught in the Chesapeake Bay. Kevin loved his two chihuahuas, Peachy and JoJo, who were known to accompany him on many road trips.

Kevin was preceded in death by his partner, Debbie Hoffman. As he leaves many missing him, there is comfort in knowing they are reunited.

Kevin is survived by sisters Gail Shaker, Charlene Little, Diane Thomas and husband Fred, Kimberly Eyler, many nieces and nephews and 'stepdaughter' Jennifer Morrison.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty Eyler, brother, Timothy Eyler, partner, Debbie Hoffman, brother in laws David Little and Sherif Shaker and special friend, Dot Morrello.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 13, 2026, from 5pm-8pm at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A. in Emmitsburg, 210 West Main Street, 21727. A funeral service will begin at 8pm with Pastor Joe Herb officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Frederick County Humane Society at 1786 N Market St Frederick Md 21701.
