LaRue Hubbard Hoffman, 89, of Westminster, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. She was born April 15, 1932 in Hampstead, MD to Charles C. and Ruth Hubbard Stonesifer.
LaRue worked at Bullocks Restaurant for many years. In her younger days she worked the family farm and also as a steel worker. She had a love for animals and riding horses.
Surviving are her sons, Roland Hoffman Jr. (Viola), and Noland Hoffman; granddaughters, Lisa Hoffman, and Brandy Hutchins; 13 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. LaRue was predeceased by her parents; brothers, James and Maurice Stonesifer; sisters, Charlotte Amspacher, and Nancy Storm; and by daughter-in-law, Peggy Hoffman.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 at John Luther Miller Memorial Cemetery, Westminster, MD. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Westminster, MD.
