Laura L. (Clabaugh) Tenney

Laura L. Tenney, age 90, of Taneytown, MD, died on Monday June 24, 2024. Born, raised and educated in Thurmont, MD, she was the daughter of the late Elmer W. and Carrie Clabaugh. Twice married, she was the widow of Jerry L. Tenney formerly of Finksburg.

Surviving are children, Kathy Cashman of York Springs, PA, Donald Stoner and wife Barbara of Gettysburg, PA, Michael Stoner and wife Bonnie of New Market, MD, and Stephen Stoner of Fairfield, PA; grandchildren, Brandy Stely of Foxville, MD, Jason Stoner and wife Amber of Fairfield, PA, Jessica Reckley and husband Dave of Emmitsburg, MD, Teresa Geer and husband Jake of Portage, PA, Bethany Jones, Thomas Cashman, Kimberly Samii and husband Salar, Cassidy Stoner of Mt Airy, MD, Nicholas Stoner of Fairfield, PA, Mace Stoner of Mt Airy, MD; step-grandchildren, William Grafton and wife Tasha, Aaron Grafton, Kelsey Hughes and husband Garrett, and John Theuerkauf and wife Casey; great-grandchildren, Sierra, Savanna, Lucas, Riley, Olivia, Kendall, Ethan, Isaac, Isabella, Elijah, Phineaus, and Arezou; step-greatgrandchildren, Eliza, Albert, Otillia, Jaxton, Isadora, Oliver, and Isaac; and sister, Lottie Bostian and husband Edward of Thurmont, MD. She was predeceased by son, Christopher Stoner; son-in-law Tom Cashman; daughter-in-law Jane Stoner; brothers Richard, Clifford, Lewis, Joseph, Elmer Jr., John and Ray Clabaugh.

A time of memorial gathering will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 2-4 & 6-8 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore Street, Taneytown, MD 21787. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery in Emmitsburg.
