Leslie Linda Young

Lesley Young,72, of Taneytown, Maryland died March 13, 2026, at Wellspan Hospital in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Born January 20,1954 in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late Fred Cochran and Frieda Lipschitz. Lesley was the devoted wife of David Young; they married in August 1978.

Lesley graduated from Enfield High School in 1972. After graduation she went to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where she earned her degree. She enlisted in US Air Force in 1979. Served in the United Kingdom, Andrews Air Force Base and the Pentagon as a Command and Control Manager. She retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 2003. She was the founder and president of the Coalition of Feral Cat Caretakers, a 501 3 charity from 2003 to present.

Surviving is loving husband David; sisters, Rosalie and Wendy, both from Connecticut. A Graveside at Garrison Forest is TBD.
